Joanna and I film this wedding last year. While we are still trying to catch up on the backlog of our video editing. I would like to share this highlights with you. Meet Jennifer and Don – a couple who has been dated for quite sometimes… Don had his eyes on Jennifer when he first met her. As far as I know, it took Don a little bit of times to get Jennifer to become his girlfriend when they first started.

When we first met to talk about their wedding video, they always wanted to have something special and different. Therefore, we decided to do a little e-session so that we can incorporate those footage into the highlights. In addition, Don wanted to do something different. He has seen lots of wedding videos that the couple will exchange note card. Therefore, instead of using note card, he wanted to be on top of technology… using a ipad/tablet!!!

Nothing beats having your wedding in a place where you can connect with ocean, beaches, mountains, along with a city life. To Joana and Ray, this is more than a destination wedding. Honolulu is a place where Joana grew up. These two weeks in Hawaii was their break from a busy schedule in work and school. It was a reunion of their friends and family from all over the world, and it was also their honeymoon and everybody’s vacation.

Joana and Ray… thank you for bringing us to Hawaii and I hope that this little trailer will remind you all the good times you had in Hawaii.

There is an old Chinese saying, “It takes hundreds of years to harvest a friendship, but it takes thousands of years to cultivate a marriage.” Well, it is extremely difficult to translate it into English… but what it means is that it sometimes takes more than fate and destiny to find and marry the person right next to you.

Story behind the concept:

When Christine and Michael first approached us last year, there are two things that they would like us to do in terms of wedding video. They wanted to showcase their wedding at the reception and to develop a concept video. They got married the past weekend on 11.11.11 (probably one of the luckiest day to get married… at least for Chinese though ) and this video was shown as part of their introduction during their reception on 11.12.11.

In terms of the concept, Mike always wanted to do something funny and interesting to entertain their guests. On the other hand, Christine would love to do something artsy and romantic and she loves the style of 1920/30s era. After a couple brainstorming sessions among us, we came up with the “Preordaination/Reincarnation” concept as a different kind of love story and use it as a base idea for the wedding film.

We certainly face a huge challenge when trying to combine / balance all these elements and to clearly convey a difficult message in this short video. I hope we have pulled this off and hope you will like it too.

It was a pleasure working with Christine and Mike… o… their reception on 11.12 was fantastic. Unfortunately, this video has to be finished before the reception began, but hopefully, we can show you some of their reception later on. Congrats to Christine and Mike once again.

We were very fortunate to have a chance to witness and film Madeline and Gerry’s wedding the past weekend. It was such a gorgeous wedding that filled with love from friends and families.

We filmed their love story and e-session the week before. On the day of the wedding, we incorporated the actual wedding footage into their love story to produce a Same Day Edit that was shown during their reception.

A few weeks ago while I was driving, I got a phone call from one of our previous couples, Girl Thien and Boy Thien. Girl Thien broke the news to me that she is pregnant and would like us to help them to do an announcement video. I was really excited for them and was more than happy to do so.

The Thiens wanted to develop a theme that can combine the baby announcement and Halloween as the holiday was coming. After a few days of brainstorming, we came up with an idea to do a “horror/suspense movie trailer” with an announcement twist. Here is their baby announcement video. Congrats to the Thiens one more time and enjoy!

Michelle and Alec got married today on 10/15/2011 and we produced a fun, successful but certainly stressful SDE to be played during their reception! We got into some road bumps along the way… (We lost a SD card reader for transferring audio!!!!) We finally found the reader thru a vendor at the very last minute. (Big thanks to Digital Memories Photo Booths!!!!)

This SDE certainly cannot be delivered on time without a good teamwork! Big thanks to Joanna and Anthony. We work as a team and make things happened!

LOVE Indian weddings… especially when the bride and groom have so much ideas on how to make their wedding look spectacular. From a surprised helicopter entrance to a surprised lamborghini exit, from traditional Indian dance performance to Shaolin monks performance, this was truly an Epic wedding and we had so much to film.

Most important of all, there were lots of emotions going on during the weekend. Milan grew up and lived in Canada while Rupesh lives and works in Texas. Many of Milan’s families and friends had to travel across the country to attend their wedding. As you can imagine, lots of emotions was in the air as they sent her off to the beginning of a new journey.

We recently traveled to Cong, County Mayo, Ireland with Pink Posh Photography for a very intimate wedding ceremony. From the day they met, Amber and Adam’s story is truly a fairly tale. Getting married in this almost thousands years old Ashford Castle really caps off their story. Amber and Adam are both from Texas, and they have a reception last week in Dallas. This love story and wedding film was shown during their reception.

A little history behind the Ashford Castle – “The castle was built in 1228 by the Anglo-Norman de Burgo family following their defeat of the O’Connors, the Royal House of Connacht. After more than three and a half centuries under the de Burgos, Ashford passed into the hands of a new master, following a fierce battle between the forces of the de Burgo’s and those of the English official Sir Richard Bingham, Lord President of Connaught. In 1589, the castle fell to Bingham, who added a fortified enclave within its precincts. In 1715, the estate of Ashford was established by the Browne Family (Baron Oranmore), and a lodge in the style of a 17th-century French chateau was added to the medieval splendour of the castle. The Estate was purchased in 1852 by Sir Benjamin Lee Guinness, who extended the estate to 26,000 acres, built new roads, planted thousands of trees and added two large Victorian style extensions.

Ashford Castle has been named one of the best hotels in Ireland and also one of the top 50 resort properties in Europe.”
